Marshal Hurley
Biography
Marshall Hurley has focused his legal practice on a wide range of governmental issues. Having served as a staff member in the United States Congress and as legal counsel in the North Carolina State Senate, he has represented both public and private clients to address governmental matters at the local, state, and federal levels. He has appeared throughout North Carolina in contested election cases, recounts, and voting rights litigation. He was an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Carolina for over 20 years, teaching in the Masters in Public Administration program. He is admitted to practice in all federal courts in North Carolina, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
